First Haircut

The "Before"

I'm not so sure about this...

Just keep talking to me Mom, I need a distraction from those scary scissors!

The "After". All even!

We took Natalie to get her first haircut this weekend! We are growing out her bangs so those were off limits but we had an inch taken off the bottom to even it out and get rid of some of her "baby hair". She was a little unsure about the whole process so she sat on my lap the whole time. But overall it went well!

Yo Gabba Gabba!

We went to Chicago this weekend to take Natalie to see a live performance of Yo Gabba Gabba...her all-time favorite show. Joe, Leanne, Maggie, Andy, AJ & Audrey all came with and a fun time was had by all. I didn't know what to expect since Natalie has never been to a live show but she had a blast clapping her hands, singing, and breaking out some dance moves she has clearly been saving for a special occassion. We had so much fun that I am considering becoming a groupie. DJ Lance Rock may have a stalker in his future!

Top Chef

Let's get cooking!

Gourmet Cafe

Dear Mom & Dad, Thank you so much for my new kitchen! I will be preparing dinner from here on out. I hope you like corn & watermelon soup...it's my speciality. Love, Natalie

Happy Birthday!

Yippee!! I'm so excited it's my birthday! Mommy & I are spending the morning together!

Yum...that was a delicious breakfast...
Sesame Street cupcakes that I took to school for all of my friends

Rocking my baby doll and giving her some milk...just because it's my birthday doesn't mean I get to skip out on my responsibilities!

Pizza and pears...one of my favorite combos
My mom is no Martha Stewart but I still loved my sprinkle cake she made me!

Actually I liked it so much that I opted to eat the whole thing straight out of the pan with a spatula...

It's my party and I'll destroy the cake if I want to! I love a good mess!

Happy Holidays!

An Elmo Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in northern Michigan with the Foresman family this year. While we were there we had an early birthday celebration for Natalie. It was an Elmo party of course (since that is her current obsession). She had so much fun eating cake (and even trying to eat the candle) and opening presents! Thanks to everybody for making it such a special day for her. We have so much to be thankful for!
