Natalie used to live in her swing to nap away most of the day. Those days are long gone but she now loves to sit in her swing and play with all the fun toys we put in front of her. She has become very "grabby" so this is a much better alternative to her sitting in my lap and pulling my hair which she also loves to do!
We were so excited to put Natalie in her shamrock dress. With her red hair and rosy cheeks she looks like the perfect little Irish baby! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Dear Mom, 
Natalie had a fun visit with Grandma and Grandpa Foresman and Aunt Stacey this weekend. They were amazed at how much she has grown and I think she had a fun time entertaining them! She is already looking forward to spending more time with them in sunny Florida next month!
When I was pregnant so many people told me that Jack and I would feel differently about our dogs after the baby was born. That really worried me because they had always been like a part of our family. While there was a definite adjustment period after we brought Natalie home (for us and them) things are great now. They love their new sister and also LOVE me being home with them all day. And contrary to what people assured us would happen, we love them just as much as we always did!
Natalie made her first trip to Peoria this past weekend. She did great in the car and also slept really well away from home for the first time. Saturday night she slept for 12 hours. She must have known it was vacation!! She got to meet Claudia and get a preview of the adorable hat she is making her...she can't wait to look just as stylish as her friend Anna who has been sporting one of these for quite some time! Her dad made sure she got to see all his favorite spots including lunch at Donnelys and dinner at Alexanders and of course...the mall! 
"I'm all packed up and ready to hit the mall for some power shopping!!"
"What do you mean I can't have any more clothes?? Surely there are some more sales to hit somewhere?!?"
"It's been a long day...think I will take a little cat nap with grandma..."
