Crawling Part 2

This video is for my family who witnessed days of Natalie's pathetic bunny hop crawl up north over the 4th of July. She has definitely improved her technique and is cruising all around the house. Not the most exciting footage but I thought I'd let her redeem herself!

Birthday Pups

Dorie and Mr Lou turn 7 today. That's 49 in dog years! I wonder if that means we should be celebrating the big 5-0 in another month or so?!?

Tunnel of Fun

Natalie likes to crawl under and around everything in her sight. You can see that firsthand in the previous post where she got stuck between the wall and the TV. She loves this little tunnel I set up for her. She crawls through it and sometimes just lays under it staring at the colors all around her. It's like her own mini fort!

Natalie loves to eat. Pretty much anything I give her she can't get enough of and the sounds she makes while she is eating are hysterical. This is a picture I took in between bites. Apparently I can't shovel it in fast enough for her!

Actually, I think I will investigate this basket full of diapers and wipes instead...

And look what a little hidden treasure I found...diaper cream! It makes me very happy as you can tell...

But not quite as happy as this flip flop...I really hit the jackpot with this one!

Now that Natalie has figured out crawling she is into everything!! Except her toys of course. Who needs those when there are so many other interesting things to play with?!

Crawling

Natalie has developed her own way of crawling which is sort of a crawl/bunny hop/scoot but she definitely gets around. It usually requires some motivation like the three dogs sitting in front of her in the video...those wagging tails are awfully tempting!

This is how we found Natalie when we went to get her out of bed this morning. I think we will need to lower her crib when we get home or she will climb right out!!

Natalie's newest trick! We have been working on this one for a while and now that she has the hang of it she is ready to show off to anyone willing to watch!

Cherry Festival

We took Natalie up to Traverse City today for the National Cherry Festival. She looked like the belle of the ball in her sweet little cherry dress!

Up North

We are having a fun, relaxing vacation up north at Crystal Lake. Natalie loves playing near the water and spending time on the beach. She has been sleeping great thanks to all the fresh air!
